Obama mania will … Obama mania will prevent enough on the left from seriously challenging the Democratic party. I hope the first months of this Democratic administration has taught most of you that it is foolish to put your faith in a single party. Obama has not gotten the troops out of Iraq, he has committed to escalating the war in Afghanistan, he has defended the previous adminsitration against prosecution for war crimes, etc.

Here’s some free advise from a director - focus the light and the interest on your protagonist and get out of the way. How hard is that… (don’t read your emails in the light in front of cenk). You guys rock - outstanding work.
Yeah, it’s sad to … Yeah, it’s sad to see right has a lot more influence after the elections. I think Europe is gonna be a lot more conservative now, and countries aren’t gonna work with each other, as they should during these times.
I also think the majority of people don’t know what they’re voting for. If they’d actually read the programs of those parties, they would realise the parties don’t have any advantages for them.

i’ll say something … i’ll say something about the indigenous indians of lima peru trying to keep oil exploration off their land. a protest lead to a major dispute about the dead. the government say it’s 5 indian deaths, the tribe says it’s 25. who do you believe?
why were there any?
fuck the oil companies. they/you pollute my air, my water, my land. there has to be some right of the land owner to protest companies that pollute.

You would think here in Europe people would be grateful for the the socialist safety nets that have prevented the economic meltdown to cause many problems for the average citizen.
Instead they are massively voting extreme right wingers into power in all member states. And why? Because they are ignorant, lazy and still not content with the enormous wealth they have.
