Such Democrats are not in favor of big labor, they are after environment, civil rights, non-proliferation. Obama spends trilions to subsidize SEIU and ignores everything else. Such "educated" liberals as we see turn out to be held as suckers by the Obama admistration.
We don`t have the morals to be good at sales like conservatives. I have a hard time just asking "did you buy the car from here"? You can`t afford to be ethical under a monetary system.

He is a Harvard Graduate and from one of the wealthiest families in the country so your generalization is totally wrong. He has never worked for minimum wage…but did support raising it.

What you are missing here is reality. Most smart, well educated liberals and Democrats do not work at minimum wage jobs and it is precisely because they are "smart and well-educated that they support increasing the minimum wage. With education they have found that increasing the minimum wage tends to decrease poverty and improve the economy. They also probably realize that there are many people who’s abilities will not allow them to hold anything other than a minimum wage job. We just don’t feel that having a mental impairment or a physical handicap should doom someone to poverty in a modern society.

Take a low interest credit card with a $300 balance. Instead of paying it off a Republican with $300 will pay $10. Even though they know the $10 won’t even cover the interest charged and it’s below the minimum payment. They figure the $290 can be used for something else. Meanwhile they’ll continue to charge. So the interest rate goes up, more late fees accrue as new purchases are added. Soon that same card has a $2000 balance and the interest is 35%. While the Republican pays the same $10. Then wants to hold a "Tea party" in protest. That’s a HANDOUT.
During the primaries McCAin stated he knew nothing about economics but mimicked Bush in stating "The fundamentals of the economy are sound". Shortly before it blew up in both their faces.
McCain also said nuclear power was the key to ending our energy problem. I guess no one told him only 3% of our electricity comes from oil. I’ve yet to see a nuclear powered car.
