You do have a point …
You do have a point!! We should have bought ownership of the banks!! 700 Billion would have been a nice share!! And if the banks improve, we the people make money!! Wow, how people in Congress don’t give a about their country!!

  2. pumagear says:

    Okay then what is …
Okay then what is your idea? not trying to make a smart comment but what can we do? You cant just say F the banks, how about saying F the people in congress who are also greedy.

  3. pumagear says:

    Right this one man …
Right this one man has got alot of democrats elected in red states. This is thankyou he is receiving from his own party, or maybe their upset about the reform on earmarks, to be honest I Dodd may not be apart of this group but I dont trust him.

  4. Violet9Spider says:

There is no way that you are serious…

With supporters like you, who needs Rush Limbaugh? Geeez…….

  6. franksnow79 says:

    Finally, some Dems …
Finally, some Dems adopt Realpolitik. About time given the clownshow Obama’s been putting on so far. I voted for the man, but since he was sworn in he’s been channeling Carter, not Truman or Johnson, like people hoped. Enough with the “appearance is everything, substance is nothing” positive-thinking inspirational approach; that’s what got us into this mess.

  7. MoPapparani says:

    I’m hoping so…
    I’m hoping so…

  10. shadowcnidarian says:

    Well then, we’re …
Well then, we’re screwed, it’s not like you can vote them out if they go on to protect the rich. Replace them with a Republican and they’ll just be more open about doing it. Maybe an independent can replace them? Wishful thinking.

    f*ck bipartisian. …
f*ck bipartisian. democrat policies all the way :)

  12. Daybreaq says:

    Why are we STILL …
Why are we STILL considering Lieberman to be a Democrat? He’s not officially, unofficially or any other way.

  13. ecwaufisxtreme says:

    I’m not high on …
    I’m not high on anything.

  14. ecwaufisxtreme says:

    Palin is NO Bush! …
Palin is NO Bush! She is SUPERIOR to Dubya in every way for Dubya is Palin’s DICKLESS and BALLESS and ! She will run the country better than any president in HISTORY!

  15. faething says:

    With soooo much …
With soooo much money being allocated to this and that, I think it’s good for some dems to produce healthy argument form time to time. However, if greed gets in the way of progress and solution, we’re screwed. Ugh! Politics! …So very frustrating!!

  16. GeneralBolas says:

    The failure of one …
The failure of one bank, just one, almost *destroyed* the world-wide economy last September. Yes, the entire world economy.

I don’t like bailing out the banks. I personally think the government should just buy them for a while. I mean, we are paying them with public money; the public should get some ownership.

I don’t like bailing them out. But we HAVE TO do it. We can’t let them fail.

  17. lebaneseameer says:

    I do agree…… …
I do agree……FUCK THE BANKS!! No more bail outs!! If they fail, they fail!! I don’t give a anymore about these banks!! The only thing that these banks are doing with the money is bonuses, stock dividends, and buying other banks!! If Obama tries to give them money, I hope those Moderates stop him from doing so!!

  18. DieDulciFruere says:

    Any democrat that …
Any democrat that does not support the elected policy of the Obama administration should be fired! These politicians are supposed to be “from the people, for the people!”

  19. Chubearishere says:

  21. CB563 says:

    In my experience, …
In my experience, most Republicans are in the closet, and not just about their political views.

  22. makaisenki says:

    If they are worried …
If they are worried about increases to people with multiple yachts… they aren’t democrats. They aren’t liberals. They’re just in the closet republicans… IMO

  23. Jay0808 says:

    Obama should just …
Obama should just include provisions about bombing non-Christian, non-white, foreign people in the budget. That should get plenty of Republican and centrist Democrat votes.

After all, these are the same people that enthusiastically voted for the Iraq war, which has seen trillions go who knows where…..

  24. hollywoodartchick says:

    The public is …
The public is further to the Left, but what is called “Centrist” among political candidates is to the Right of Richard Nixon. The disconnect is in the media who portray the actual popular “Center” as being far-Left. That may be because they are also owned by the corporate interests that get to make those definitions.

  25. jpbalkenende says:

    If you look at …
If you look at opinion polls on policy, indeed the center has become pretty liberal.
